Thank you very much for arranging our hikes and the accomodations! We had a wonderful time and fell in love with the Rhodope mountains.
The first hotel was very nice, with friendly people and nice food and most of all an amazing view. The first hike was indeed challenging at the start; quite a steep start! We loved how the views constantly changed, and the second part was absolutely beautiful. I made some nice pictures as well, I can maybe share them with you if you would like?

Unfortunately, Roos has some old sports injury in her knee, which is why we decided not to do the second walk. We just went to the devil's cave and continued to the Guest House in Smolyan. The guesthouse was really the best accomodation I have ever had! So friendly, such nice food! We did the hike there, and made it a bit longer; the route you shared with us was only the hike with the waterfalls; we decided to go up and down to a peak, otherwise we would have been finished in only 2,5 hours. I also made some nice pictures there (smiley)

After our stay at the Fir Tree guest house, we went to the festival, which was nice, but we decided to come back to the guest house for one more night before we left to go home, simply to enjoy the hospitality and the great food once more.
Thank you so much for your help, we will highly recommend our friends to visit Bulgaria and the Rhodope mountains, and I would definitely love to come back some time to explore more of your country.
