Camping is prohibited in national parks, natural parks, and natural reserves.
However, there are special desinated areas in each National Park, where the camping is allowed. In the most common case, these areas are around a hut or a shelter.

Hello! I will visit bulgaria in 10 days, and I like to camp when I go trekking. Is there camping available in the pirin, rila, or balkan mountains? How much are they? How much on average are the mountain huts?

Hello: I am interested in a tent camping/hike of about 4 nights, 5 days in Bulgaria. I would bring all of my own supplies and not need any assistance with luggage, etc. However, I would like to get your advice on which trail to take, maps, and recommended list of supplies. I would like to do this trek alone; I'm looking for a total escape from civilization. I would be happy to pay your company a one-time fee to help with the requests I described above. Would this be possible?
