We meet you at Sofia airport or
at Sofia main railroad station. Three hours drive to
Bansko town – gateway to Pirin mountain. Overnight
in a nice family hotel. |

2
Transfer to Predela col. Beginning of the trek. Nice
and inspiring walk in Bayuvi dupki-Djndjritsa reserve.
Overnight at Yavorov hut (hija Yavorov). Approximately
5 hours walking time.

This day you hike on the famous
marble ridge of the mountain. Overnight at Banderitsa
hut (hija Banderitsa). Approximately 8 hours walking
time. |

Short walk to Vihren hut (hija
Vihren). You leave your rucksacks here and climb the
highest peak of the mountain – Vihren peak (2914
m). Overnight at Vihren hut. Approximately 6 hours walking
time.

Uphill from the hut to the vast
Banderitsa corrie with several big lakes. Climb to Todorina
porta col. Descending to another big corrie with beautiful
lakes. Overnight at Demyanitsa hut (hija Demyanitsa).
Approximately 4 hours walking time.

This day you explore deep
and narrow Gazei corrie. Then you continue your way
to the second highest peak in the mountain – Polejan
peak (2851 m). Overnight at Bezbog hut (hija Bezbog).
Approximately 7 hours walking time.

7
This day you will see
the biggest lake in the mountain - Popovoto ezero and
many other lakes in the huge corrie with the same name.
Surrounding peaks are very impressive. Then you climb
gradually to Iron Gate col (Demirkapia) and descend
to the magnificent corrie of the Third River (Tretata
reka). Overnight at Pirin hut (hija Pirin). Approximately
7 hours walking time. |

From Pirin hut you go north to
the highest hut in the mountain - Dark Lake hut (hija
Tevno ezero). Approximately 7 hours walking time. |

Another day on high ridge. Back
to Vihren hut. Approximately 7 hours walking time. Transfer
from Vihren hut to Bansko town. Overnight at a nice
family hotel.
